For media directors, worship leaders, and all the volunteers who make our services happen, the last two years have been both challenging and energizing. While they’ve been asked to do more with less, many of these servants have been able to pull off online services and productions that rival churches with 10 times the budget.
It’s vital that we provide support for these leaders as they continue to meet the needs of our churches.
Starting in October, the Free Methodist Church in Southern California (FMCSC) is providing a free, monthly meetup created just for your church media teams: worship and media directors, youth media teams, and online and social media producers helping your church meet the challenges we’re all experiencing.
This is an opportunity for your leaders to not only connect with other churches within the conference but also learn from experienced industry experts. Topics will include:
- Live and online video production
- Best practices for sound
- How to recruit and train new team members
- Group development and discipleship within the context of church media teams
Please note that we have not yet selected a date for the meetups to start. On the RSVP you will be able to provide days and times that work well for your group.
Each session will be led by a multidisciplinary team of facilitators with decades of church media experience.
