About the Ministerial Appointments Committee
The Ministerial Appointments Committee (commonly called the MAC) is responsible for appointing qualified ministers to ministries and monitoring progress and growth. As with all Free Methodist Church leadership, the board is composed of an equal number of ministerial and lay (non-ordained) leaders.

During this season of COVID, the Free Methodist Church in Southern California has had a number of important available appointments. Through prayer and discernment, we have thankfully found leaders who are already showing fruit in their ministries.
Pastor Clare Ferguson Bravo was appointed as the Lead Pastor of Rose City Church in Pasadena. She was appointed during one of the most difficult times in recent history, the COVID pandemic, and has navigated these challenges with a thoughtful approach to ministry and continues to serve the congregation during this pandemic. We look forward to seeing the community impact Rose City Church will have in this next season.
Pastor Mike Chong Perkinson was appointed to the Lamb’s Fellowship in Lake Elsinore. We are so thankful that the Lord brought Mike to us and have not only benefited from his leadership in Lake Elsinore but also conference-wide. Pastor Mike has been working with our leadership team to help develop training programs and a pipeline for Church Planting.
Pastor Adrian Greer was appointed to Lead Pastor at Foothill Community Church in Azusa. Having a lifelong commitment to Azusa, we are so thankful for Adrian and his call to be an indignienous leader in Azusa.
Finally, we ask for your continued prayers. As you may have heard, Superintendent and Pastor Fraser Venter will be transitioning from Cucamonga Christian Fellowship at Annual Conference this year. Our MAC has met and is starting the process of finding a new leader. Please pray with us that the Lord will give us the right leader for CCF.
