Introducing the Online Video Series

As we continue to fight the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, it’s clear that mitigation efforts and social distancing have been challenging for our churches. One bright spot has been how our churches have moved to online services as a way to encourage our church members, providing hope and spiritual comfort. We saw many of our churches utilize brand new technologies and techniques this weekend that normally take months to enact.

The Free Methodist Church in Southern California wants to help you and your church continue to meet the needs of your congregation by providing a place for discussion on how to use online technology and a series of videos with lessons and tips from online video veterans.

This new video series is specifically designed for Free Methodist Churches and includes both beginner topics, like how to get started recording your message and how to use free tools to publish, and advanced topics like how to reach the largest audience possible and how to better engage with your church and beyond. We’re adding new videos on a regular basis with four videos set to release the week of March 22, 2020.

If you’re interested in jumping in, visit our channel on YouTube and make sure to subscribe to receive updates when new videos are published. We would also love to hear directly from you, so make sure to join the discussion in the comments on each video, or contact us directly if you need additional assistance for your church.
