How do I get to the hotel?

What "registration" is and what it is not...
  • "Registration at Hotel and Prayer" is the first item of the day and it is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. This "registration" is with our FMCSC staff, NOT with the hotel.
  • We ask that you arrive on time, so that we know that you have arrived, have received your events packet and are situated comfortably. Please be prompt! Our event begins at 8:00 a.m. and we have to stay on time with our arrangements with the hotel.
  • Also, please note that Check-in time with the hotel, is not an available option for our group until after 3 p.m. on Monday.

What should I do with my bags until then? (Hotel Check-in time)
  • Please keep your luggage in your car for safe-keeping until our afternoon break (4:00 p.m.) when you will be given the key to your room.

I'm a speaker; what should I know?
  • Spend time with the Father and the Son. Be led by the Spirit. Receive our thanks for coming and speaking. Also (on a pragmatic level): please be conscious of your speaking times. The hotel maintains commitments with several groups at any given time. In order for our meal times and breakout sessions to flow smoothly, we need to stay close to the schedule that we have provided them.

When does Learning Community wrap up? I want to inform my family...
  • Our last event is scheduled to conclude by 3 p.m. on Tuesday (9/25). If you are a part of the SALAD group, then we have a meeting scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and a dinner set for 5:00 p.m. (also on Tuesday - 9/25)

Hey! I'm at the hotel, and this is a pretty nice set-up! What do I need to know about paying for things?
  • The conference office has covered the costs of meals, gratuities, & room charges. If you would like to charge something "extra" to your room, this is your responsibility to pay for at check out time (You will be asked for a credit card at check-in time to cover such "incidentals" as this).

Is there anything else that I might want to know?
  • The hotel offers tennis, golf, spa & fitness facilities.

  • Pacific Palms Resort offers high speed Internet access, for you wired and computer savvy folks!
  • The Hotel's check out time, is 12:00 noon. Rooms occupied (or containing luggage or personal effects) after 12:00 noon are subject to a late departure charge.
