Denny and wife Cheryl came to Santa Barbara in 1976 directly from seminary. A son of a pastor, Denny struggled with his faith until a crisis in college and Cheryl’s influence brought him to understand the loving grace of our Father. Denny and Cheryl have two sons who were raised in Santa Barbara and are now married. Denny hails from Oklahoma, got his psychology degree from Greenville College, his seminary degree from Asbury Seminary and his doctorate from Fuller Seminary. Denny is also the senior pastor at the Free Methodist Church of Santa Barbara.
Superintendent South Region & Pastoral Care
Pastor Gary Enniss has served the Lord in full time ministry for over 30 years. During those years he received his MA in Marriage Family and Child counseling and became a licensed MFCT. Pastor Gary has a love for people and a heart to see those experiencing pain, find health and healing in Christ. He has been married to his wife Marty for 40 years. They have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Gary is the founding and senior pastor of the Lamb’s Fellowship in Lake Elsinore.
Superintendent Central Region & Church Planting
Dr. Larry Walkemeyer along his wife Pastor Deb Walkemeyer have led Light & Life Christian Fellowship since 1991. Starting with a handful of committed “white folks” the church has grown into a large multi-ethnic, urban church. Larry’s 30 years in ministry have included youth ministries, conference speaking, para-church leadership, radio ministry, missions work, pastoral mentoring, and over 15 national church plant projects, as well as starting church networks in the Philippines, Ethiopia and Indonesia. Larry is the co-author of “15 Characteristics of Effective Pastors”. Azusa Pacific University named Larry one of the most influential students over its one hundred year history and recently inducted him into their Hall of Fame. Larry is a frequent speaker to ministry leaders and has started a non-profit organization to assist kingdom work in urban and international places of need.
Assistant Superintendent for Administration
Glen began working for the Free Methodist Church in 1994 as a bookkeeper while he processed his call to full-time ministry. Since that time he has served as the Executive Pastor of two FMCSC churches, and now in the role of administering the conference. He has owned and operated two businesses and enjoys leading churches in healthy processes and functional structures that achieve the mission of the kingdom. Glen and wife Koni have two daughters, live in Murrieta and are delighted that they live near their family.
